I was excited to get the walnut because other reviews (like the ocean photo) showed it as what looks like real walnut wood with the color variations and lighter color. What I recieved was a dark stained piece of wood. I still like, it's just not what I was hoping for.

Stronger magnets needed
Let me start by saying these are very well made..I’d love to give a 5-star rating but can’t because as soon as I attach the lower bar, the weight of it causes the top magnets to fail. I use 140 lb. 18x24 inch watercolor paper with collage and acrylic paint and really wanted to use these hangers for display but……I guess not with this product.

First off ,I love them, but it should be said anything more than a paper or plastic sheet they do not hold well. I have found glueing the hanging cord onto the exit point of bar helps and especially using two sided tape in-between magnetic disks works well. I do this for matted pictures. That said I will be sending larger orders for the Magnetic Hangers for they are the best of all hangers I have tried and show Quality when picture goes up on the wall.

String unraveled and unusable
The string was unraveled at one end when I opened the pouch. It was impossible to thread it through the hole to hang it up. Tried everything but it completely came apart. The sticks themselves look nice. Be sure the strings are properly sealed at each end before packaging/shipping.
