Our textile hangers are made to order from premium solid wood in our Chicago wood shop. This frame is designed to display anything up to 1/2" thick, like quilts, textiles, tapestries, rugs or even mounted materials such as foam core and gator board.

Hangers are priced at $3/inch for the top pair, or $4.5/inch for top-and-bottom pairs. Start by selecting the hanger width and click "Next" to choose your finish.

Holds Up To 1/2" Thick
Our premium textile hangers were designed to securely frame difficult to display items of any weight or length at up to 1/2" thick. The rear frame member is first mounted to the wall, then insert your textile and finally, tighten the bolts until your item is securely fastened.
Choose from antique bronze, chrome or black oxide hardware.
Premium Materials
Our frames are sold in the MoMA, Smithsonian and the Guggenheim – and that didn't happen by accident. Finishes are 100% acid-free and include solid Walnut, solid Oak, Black and White. Hardware options include antique bronze, chrome or black oxide.

Our textile frames can be made in any width up to 72" wide (please note this listing is for widths of 49" or greater). Product dimensions measure 0.75” x 2” x Length, per piece. Hangers may be purchased as top-pair-only ($3/inch) or top-and-bottom pairs ($4.5/inch). Mounting hardware and 4mm alen wrench included.
Frequently Asked Questions
+ Will these frames damage my textile?
Not likely. However, these frames function by clamping textiles between them and as such thick, soft materials may be affected. On our color finishes, sliding the textile while clamped in place may result in paint transfer. Well Made is not responsible for any damage to your textile.
+ Are other wood species and finishes available?
Yes. We have the ability to make our textile hangers from virtually any hardwood you can think of. We can also match any project's color or finish options such as tinting, whitewashing and oxidizing – minimums and addition charges may apply.
+ What are the product dimensions?
Each textile hanger comes with 2 pieces, each measuring 0.75" x 2" x Length. Once mounted, your textile will be centered between a 2" frame, with your textile elevated off the wall 0.75".
+ Do you offer local pickup in Chicago?
Yes. Our wood shop is located at the Diversey/Pulaski intersection in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago. Please use coupon code “PickEmUp” at checkout to waive shipment fees. Once purchased, please email us to schedule your pick up.
+ Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes. We have a high powered laser engraver onsight and can engrave all four sides for any length frame we make.
