Our Founder, Brandon Knowlden, grew up around wood and working with his hands. He then spent years in creative industries and felt the frustration of how expensive and difficult it is to frame art. From that he conceived the idea for our Magnetic Poster Hangers “Stiicks” - a simplified frame that's affordable and easy to hang. In 2013, Stiicks were introduced via Kickstarter, raising $28k and we couldn’t be happier to still make them today.

We are excited to enter into our second decade of business with a new owner, Stephanie Tysdal. Stephanie is committed to building on the Well Made brand, expanding our product line while maintaining our deep commitment to high quality products built to last a lifetime. Throughout her career, Stephanie has built long term relationships with customers of many different sizes in a variety of industries. She brings those experiences to Well Made in order to evolve our product line, service approaches and sales channels for countless more happy customers to come.
